International Aid
Haiti
Dr. Michael Gollotto of Cooper University Hospital traveled to Haiti in January 2009; HTC loaned him a portable anesthesia machine.
HTC provided wheelchairs, crutches, walkers etc. to Pastor Louis Sanders whose church is sending a container of supplies to Haiti.
Guatemala
Time & Talents for Children of Wisconsin traveled to Finca Volcan to provide dental care to 439 children; HTC loaned them a portable dental unit.
HTC is collecting over-the-counter pharmaceutical items for Projecto Union in Guatemala City. HTC will also send children's eyeglasses and empty frames provided by New Eyes for the Needy.
Panama
HTC will send ophthalmic medical and surgical supplies to Panama for the Ninos Santos, Ninos Felices (Healty Children, Happy Children) project. Panamanian surgeons will provide donated medical care using HTC equipment to children in need; the most common procedures will correct strabismus and ptosis. HTC will also send chidren's sunglasses provided by New Eyes for the Needy.
